AS Haute-Broye

Three tournaments a winter, one tool that holds up

A winter tradition

Each year, during the winter holidays, AS Haute-Broye puts on three consecutive junior tournaments — categories F, E, and D. Three weekends back to back, three organisations to run in parallel, with the same volunteers cycling through every role: registrations, schedules, refereeing, catering.

The tool you put up with

Before Optifit, the club used another solution on the market — on paper, it did the job. In practice, it was a different story: bugs that came back with every tournament, an interface not designed for volunteers in a hurry, and above all no way to configure things exactly the way the club wanted. The kind of tool you put up with because you haven’t found anything better — not because it actually fits.

The other way around

This time, it wasn’t the club that went looking for a solution — it was Optifit that came to them. One demo of Arena, and the fit was immediate: the club found a tool designed to run a tournament the way they want, without having to work around the limitations of software poorly calibrated for the amateur world.

Renewal as the best proof

Since that first season, AS Haute-Broye has renewed Arena every winter, without exception, for all three of its junior tournaments. No search for an alternative, no going back — just a tool that does the job and gets out of the way. For an amateur club where everything rests on volunteers with limited time, that’s usually the most reliable sign that a tool has found its place.
